WHEEL THROWING

​Anyone with prior knowledge and practice on the wheel for more than 12 sessions can take up this course.

​

• Working with 500-800 grams of clay

• Learn how to make different shaped bowls and larger mugs

• Learn to trim a bowl with a foot

• Learn to trim mugs with a foot and attach handles

• Explore surface decoration/carving and make the pieces more decorative

• Learn to glaze the pots using dip and pour technique and learn to work with Wax Resist

• The course fee includes firing of 4 pieces

NOTE: There will be a gap between your 11th and your 12th class as your pieces will need to dry and be fired before the 12th session. This break could be up to 2-4 weeks before you prepare them and glaze them for the 2nd firing of your works. Once the works are fired again, you will be informed. You can get them picked up within 2 weeks.
