5kgs Clay, Glazes, firing and access to the studio equipment

Introduction to the fundamentals of pottery and the process

Wedging, kneading and how to prepare the clay for throwing
Practising wheel throwing with demo and guidance
Centring, making cylinders and making different kinds of pots like mugs and cups
Trimming demo and finishing the pots made
Glazing(dip and pour) and firing max of 4 pots made in the course

NOTE: There will be a gap between your 11th and your 12th class as your pieces will need to dry and then be fired before the 12th session. This break could be up to 2-4 weeks before you prepare them and glaze them for the 2nd firing of your works. Once the works are fired again, you will be informed. You can get them picked up within 2 weeks.
